MALALa's Stand for Education

Malala Yousafzai was shot by the Taliban for trying to promote education or girls. Over 57 million children for all hemispheres are not attending school. In the United Kingdom they declared July 12 Malala's birthday as Malala Day. UNESCO's Directory-General Irina Bojova Said "Across many of the world's poorest countries, armed conflict continues to destroy not just school infrastructure, but also the hopes and ambitions of a whole generation of children (Lederer).

In America we have children dropping out of school just because they think they can't do it because it's to hard. We have kids failing classes because the gave up on school and their parents don't care. We have kids who just want to fight and disrupt the class while others and trying to learn. And in other parts of the world we have a 16 year old girl trying to promote kids going to school. We have kids who can't get and education and is fighting to get one. As, an american i a ashamed of our students and our ethics. Why are we not trying to keep our students in schools and making an effort to help them get good grades??? There are some teachers who care and want to help but other's just want a pay check. Parents help your kids with homework. I understand that you may work more than on job but in the long run it will be worth it. Education is important rather we agree it is or not. This no student left behind act needs to be fixed that helps everyone of all races and all social classes. I commend this young girl for standing up for what she believes in. We all need to celebrate Malala Day July 12th
