Light Skin vs. Dark Skin

This is a debate that has been going on for years Dark skin vs. Light skin. Who in the hell decided to to put two colors against each other. That's like me saying pink vs. purple. Team purple !!! What is wrong with this world where we has stooped this low to compare our color. Slavery is over Segregation is over There is no Jim Crow laws. We are all "Equal" so why do we keep on comparing ourselves to down each other??? Celebrities bleach there skin just to look lighter. Kids are teased in school just because they are to dark or to pale. Why can't we live in a time were everyone is okay how they look. Where we don't have to alter our appearance just to look like a model or a super star. We were born the way we are for a reason you might not understand i may not understand but you can't help it.
